• External Circlips (DIN 471 style) – fit around the outside of shafts and pins, seating into a groove on the shaft surface to stop bearings, washers and components sliding off
• Internal Circlips (DIN 472 style) – expand inside bores and housings, seating into a groove in the inner wall to retain bearings and components within the bore
